Howdy all,
I've been asked to share this (which I was at some point). BF1942 has been getting some neat tricks lately (we're catching up on BFV though). One of these neat tricks is an automated map downloader.
All it does it is replaces your regular BF1942 executable (like a no-cd patch) and then say you join a server that you do not have the maps for, it will prompt you to download them!
