Oh, that's interesting, it's still possible that the sound fix may solve this problem. Just unzip to any random folder on your Desktop and run bfv_sound_fix_install.bat file and confirm any prompts that may appear.

Are you running any compatibility mode? Doing so may disable the sound fix which comes included with the game to address this issue. You can try removing compatibility mode and run this file to fix your sound again. https://www.moddb.com/downloads/bfv-sound-fix
