I would very much like to appeal my ban. The reason I haven't done so earlier is the fact that my PC broke down due to water damage in 2021 soon after the initial provisional unbanning took effect. I am still not in possession of a PC but would still like to finally take care of this matter.
I don't know if anyone still remembers me or the reason for my ban but suffice it to say it was first and foremost due to my misdemeanour towards silvia and I suppose me not passing the criteria set for the extended probation period that I had entered shortly before my ban became finalised.
Just skimming the forums now after all this time has passed I figure some people responsible for the administration of the server were also becoming distrustful of me due to suspected cheating. I find it important to bring this point up since in spite of it not playing an official role for my ban I had already picked up on some of that distrust and often thought the atmosphere was poisoned but no one dared mention the elephant in the room.
I therefore want to reassure you I wasn't cheating back then nor plan to ever do so in thr future. I suffered and still suffer from severe OCD and the game served as a sort of escapism and it is a game I had already been playing for many years, I began playing it before hitting even puberty and it effectively taught me the English language and I spent 1000s upon 1000s of hours of playing it and eventually developed extraordinary skills, especially in terms of air combat.
I bring this up not because of some narcissistic pride or some such but rather as an explanation why sometimes I could have really good games which I was able to develop at the expense of ignoring often more important and pressing matters in life which thereby often went neglected.
I can provide a link to my Steam account as a sign of good faith, even if only circumstantial, will show you I've never had a VAC ban and own 100s of games. I thought it important to go into this issue at length because whatever you decide, I wouldn't want to have that kind of distrustful and thick astmosphere clouding up what should be a fun game again as it was back then.
