Greetings community!
There's been a few tiny changes done around the community, I'm not going to go over the little ones, but instead the "big" ones. Don't worry, this isn't a long read!Battlefield 2042 is leaving us:
I've decided to drop Battlefield 2042, mainly because of the current state of the game. That being that it's going through some difficult paces currently, several of our own players don't actively play it either because of how they feel about it. Perhaps sometime in the future we will revisit this adventure...
Rising Storm 2: Vietnam's fate is being decided...with us:
Currently our RS2:V server has been offline for nearly over a month. Due to personal circumstances Gerhards side and my inability to maintain it myself (exchange rate sucks too much), it is looking rather unfeasible to keep.
We've had a very good run with it, filled it on a few occasions, it was intended to be somewhat self-sufficient. In truth, it was visited so much, but never contributed to. The player count simply doesn't outweigh the cost of the actual server - it requires a high end server for proper performance otherwise end users experience latency / performance issues when more players are present. We can write a book on all the details it requires - seriously!
Gerhard & I will discuss it, we will see what we come up with. I'll post an addendum to this topic once we reach a decision. Ultimately, it's not worth it if we don't have the players...
Battlefield Vietnam can run on Linux!
On to some positive news! We have our first true Linux player! They have shared that they were able to run a non-installer version of the game (copied over from an existing installation and simply pasted onto the Linux running machine) via Wine! They have not reported any issues as of yet, however this is fantastic news for quite a few reasons!
Battlefield 1942 is getting some more attention:
Bang is putting in a lot of time and effort into completing some additional maps and mods for the game! He is of course working around a schedule as well, so where he can he is dedicating more of his free time to sort things out! As a direct result, we've seen a ten-fold increase in event attendance! This past pirates event reached 30 players alone! With recurring weekly players of roughly 8+ who join and have a boat load of fun (pun unintended) all on their own.
More so, more events are coming for 1942! Which brings me onto the next thing...
Our games & their events:
At this point we are running BFV & 1942 servers (our primes). Our aim is to, from now on, have events for both servers in the same month (instead of alternating monthly). Even if we have nothing special planned, we'll try host "get together" events.Other game news:

Destiny 2:
I'm looking at the possibility of trying HelloClan out in Destiny 2! Although we'd be arriving very late, it's a heavily popular game and to establish ourselves there shouldn't be too much of a hassle!
If you would be interested in joining HelloClan in Destiny 2, please leave your comment or vote on Discord! If you don't know what Destiny 2 is or what it's about, please check it out here:
